About
After graduating from WLAC in California, I studied studio arts through UCLA’s extension arts program, and concurrently I studied graphic design as a career option. I subsequently worked as a graphic artist over a twenty year period both in California and eight years in Virginia. Current creative pursuits consist primarily in painting and urban sketching.

Artist Statement (Abstract Painting)
My abstract paintings develop around life-questions and contemplations. I’m curious about relationships, boundaries, and visual uncertainties among painted and collaged forms. I apply a personal painting process that results in the smallest of visual stories which are interior and meaningful to me. My titles attempt to guide the viewer toward my vision and/or send them on their own interior journey.
